Just curious. Do you remember what type of view you bought when you reserved the room? Was it standard view, lake view, or magic kingdom view?

@Dumbfest327 It was a Lake View room. There are Lake View rooms, even numbered ones, that will give you a partial MK view too!

I'm 13 and I'm already thinking about joining DVC when I'm older! My mom keeps saying Bay Lake Tower is ugly. WHATEVER SHE SAYS, I STILL LOVE THE WAY THIS HOTEL LOOKS! I'm not too crazy about the studios at this specific hotel, but the 1, 2,and 3 bedroom villas look amazing! Hopefully I'll get a professional job that pays well when I'm older cause this hotel is awesome!

@Dumbfest327 LOL I agree! The 1,2, and 3 bedrooms ARE amazing. And that location cannot be beat. Just be wise with your money everyday, live within your means, save your nickels, and you'll be able to afford DVC, no problem! :-)

@Duke1690 Search for "A Photographic Walking Tour of Disney's Old Key West Resort" in my videos. The room pictures, in the video, are terrible though. I was at a Travel Agent conference and arrived a few days after my husband and child - so the room was already messed up! :-) Spacious and pretty though. What other resorts are you thinking about?

@Duke1690 I LOVED OKW!!!!!!!!!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaay more than I thought I would! We did have trouble with the bus there, waited 45 minutes at the park twice! But, the resort is awesome. It has such a wonderful feel, very chill and relaxed. I don't relax easily and its' like I was forced to relax there! Awesome community hall, the Cast Members were extra nice...Olivia's was tasty with superb service. I would not hesitate for a second to stay there again! I did a video of it too.

@jackasbill We just use the bus system. We've rented a car for a day twice, to go to Kennedy Space Center, but that was it....I don't like to drive, so I try to avoid it on vacation too! LOL (My husband cannot drive, he's legally blind) Last night I was doing some research on OKW and the buildings up by and on Miller Road are on the 1st bus stop - and some of them are close to the Hospitality House with the main pool, food, boat to DTD, etc.

OKW is the resort we were plannjng on staying, but I not sure if we should rent a car. I hear that it is pretty spread out. Do you ren a car or jist use the bus system?
