I'm sorry that you went through this. I was thinking about going to a stylist but fear the same treatment you received. My hair is your length and I think I'll continue watching videos by other sisters with natural hair to get tips for caring for it myself. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Girl I been stop going to the hair salon. No one will ever treat your hair the way you do with tlc. I do everything to my hair now. I remember in 2009 I went to get a mild trim. The lady cut off 4 inches of my hair. I stopped her in the middle of trimming my hair because I seen the amount of hair on the floor. I had to cut 4 inches of the rest of my hair off because I didn't want it to look uneven. I made her give me a refund back because I told her 1/4 inches off and she cut 4 inches off.

You MUST GO to a "natural" hair stylist esp if you want to get ur hair straighten or any heat applied to it I feel for u but u hair is still beautiful and u can recover use Aragon oil deep cond.

@reesecup888 They act like they don't like long hair so they try to cut it or damage it. I hate jealous stylists. When I stop going to the hair salon my hair was so freakin healthier. My hair is fuller, thicker, and waist length now thanks God I'm done with jealous hair stylists.

But anyways love make sure that you keep your word and stay out of hair salons. Your hair still looks lovely. Just trim your hair yourself and start fresh.

I hate stylist like that, they're usually jealous so they try to take your hair out and or damage it.  It's sad that they're like that.

My Cousin Is A Hair Stylst, And She's Has Never Had A Relaxer, Like Her Whole Life. She Roller-Set My Hair, Blew It Out, And Then She Straightened It. It Only Took Like 30 Mins., Cause She Took Big Sections, But Used A Big Brush To Comb Thro It When She Was Straightening It. She Was Really Gentle With It. Plus, She Only Did Like 1, 2 Strokes Max. My Cousin Is Da Bombb!! Lmaoo. (Not Really My Cousin, She's Just So Close To Me That I Call Her My Cousin, And She Calls Me Her Cousin, Lmaoo)
