Wow. I thought i wuz the only person who has selective mutism. I had it since i started school, and still have it after graduating in 2011. I only talk to my parents, my 2 sisters, my nephew, and 2 cousins. Never at school. Though i do in public if i'm with my family, but not to any strangers (though i'm starting to NOW). Sometimes when i get bullied, i start a physical fight with them. Counsellors don't know how to help me. In kindergarden i used to hide under the desks.

I am disgusting? Or do you know how to read? I am not a bully myself I am just saying that if you don't like getting bullied man the hell up and talk. Look I have A.D.D. but I still pay attention in school because I WANT to to good. If your friend WANTS to stop being bullied she should talk, and if it "hurts" then step up and take a risk, who cares if a mistake happens, people will at least know that she can be competent to talk.

@Benjamin028u20 you're disgusting, my friend has that problem and can only talk to me and the year 6 teacher from our old school. She says it hurts in a wierd way to talk to other people. The bullies just make it worse.

it is easy for me to say AND do. Its all about how much you want it. IF he dosent want to get bullied anymore he should do extra curriculars and actually talk instead of being a lonely socially deprived person
