Hello. I know you said shampoo after hot oil treating but is a cowash effective or ok to do too? Or shud I always plan to shampoo when hot oiling? And..is it ok to DC on the same day I hot oil treat? Thanks for all of your help and information. :-)

cowash is fine but you will have to judge your hair afterwards. If it feels heavy and weighed down, then only do them before a shampoo. If your hair feels fine, then you should listen to your hair girl.

Wait... so before the shampoo cause Alicia James the one whose hair grew all the way waist length and other natural girls with long long hair do it after then conditioner wash it out...it cant be bad if their hair is doing that well. Did the cosmos give a damaging reason not to im curious before i do my own?
