@TheJeditori you do HAVE to get a data plan, but it dosent have to be unlimited. I dont recommend that however as most of the things you would do with this phone (or most of the things you would WANT to do with any Droid) involves the internet. I used to be one of the nay-sayers if you will, saying that I wouldn't even use the data if I had the plan. Well I am here today to tell you that if you have a smartphone, you WILL use the data. This is a great phone though. I LOVE mine.

Do you have to get the data plan with this phone? like the 30 dollars a month. Can i get it without internet or would that be pointless?
