Black Watch is a former Scottish Regt. But there is sofar I know still a Irish Guards Regt.
But Minstrell Boy is an Irish tune... adopted by the Unionist troops during Civil War and today used in several parades in the USA... A good tune, and very understandable that all Pipers like to play it... I do myself :-) Good Post indeed

Most of these guys are in NY/NJ/Connecticut area, some closer to DC, etc.

That was just a quick title--these are (reennactors) of the Black Watch and the Irish Guards regiments (and probably some others.)
