Its funny becouse ,skeet is the only bassplayer he calls out to solo,he plays everysingle note in those runs.funkin incredible
-
Skeet plays every single note possible, he never plays ghost notes,im jealous. "4ever funkin on!"
-
Why doesn't Skeet get credit for being the truly epic bass monster that he is?
He's one of the greats.

P-Funk is one of my all-time favorites! As far as walking out on a P-Funk show is concerned, sometimes it has nothing to do with the performance. This summer the Ohio Players opened for George in Brooklyn. I left before the show was over (and it was a great show!) because I was on FUNK OVERLOAD! Sometimes they give you too much sugar for a dime!
Did they tour for electric spanking? Icka Prick live?

@FUNKWADS This was "The World's Greatest Funk Tour," sort of an "Electric Spanking" tour, however unofficial... On this tour, you would occasionally hear a track from that album as well as the Parliament album "Trombipulation." See the live version of "Shockwaves" on this channel for more. Would LOVE to hear Icka Prick live, but don't have a recording of it!

Even thought this tour was basically in a shambles and marked the end of the Parliament era, the band is suprisingly tight on this jam. I heard folks were literally walking out of the arena.
