  • awesome torah

  • I love these, thank you for sharing :)

  • Second, do you have a source on the "good manners supercede Torah learning"? Heavenly insularity isn't just to perpetuate itself, is it?

I have difficulty understanding this "light unto the nations" notion when the guardians of the treasure seek to lock it away into inaccessibility - this hardly seems to be gemilut hasadim. Can not the physician, finding an ill baby, distill what is proper only for an adult - without diminishing the source?

Yet all this is through goyish lenses.

  • I'm thankful for your doing these classes, and further, putting them on youtube.

    Two things.

First, you speak of certain ways of living Judaism making secularists out of others. If one has interest in conversion, and seeks "something that makes sense," it is one thing to accept the yoke of mitzvot and halakhah, but what of emunah that seems nonsensical? Is it possible to become Jewish without having yet integrated all of Rambam's 13 Principles of Faith? Have all Jews of all time accepted them?

  • Very good teaching.

  • You mentioned that "it is great to be Jewish guys" at 9:09....than at 9:30 you mention, "my friends if you have chosen the God of Israel then you have chosen wisely".

I notice you do not answer on these blog message boards, but your viewers should be aware that God does the choosing, and not man. The Scriptures are very clear that it is the Lord who chooses, and man who is chosen.

This error about man choosing is prevalent in Judaism and evangelical Christians who support Israel.

  • good ol' joey!
