On May 17, 2010, The Other 98% came to Washington, DC to take on the Big Banks and their legions of lobbyists. The six big banks have spent close to $600 million on lobbying, trade association activity and political contributions since the first major federal bailout of Bear Stearns in March 2008. Despite the rain we shut down K Street and sent a powerful message that we won't sit by as corporate lobbyists buy off our government.
The Other 98% wants a government of, by and for the people, not DC lobbyists and the big banks that hire them. Americans deserve a democracy that works for all of us, not just K Street lobbyists.

This is what happens when Demorat front groups rally the retarded who are out of work, unemployable, or gubbament employed to attack democracy and freedom and bring us tyranny and communism. They're all very GREEN also, just like the Critical Mass bicyclists who drive their suv's loaded with their bikes on racks from Berkeley and Marin to "protest evil cars"

Intelligence and logic, SuperiorSwagon1-style:
1. Hippies are evil.
2. Demonstrators act and look like hippies.
3. The target of their discontent is the K Street corporate lobby.
4. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
5. Therefore we should valiantly defend the cause of corporate lobbyists.

@bette1122 We're in the middle of a moderate depression, with millions of Americans failing in their desperate job searches, and you have the nerve to complain about welfare and food stamp greed now of all times? The financial warlocks wrecked our economy and so many families are suffering through no fault of their own. Wanting to punish innocent victims is a savage and monstrous thing to do. People like you make me nauseous not only to my stomach, but to my intestines.

@SuperiorSwagon1 I think you need some counseling. These kind of shallow and derogatory remarks are a classic symptom of acute self-esteem deficiency.

@SuperiorSwagon1 Oh so here we go again. Anybody who complains about corporate greed, rampant inequality and Russian Roulette style capitalism must be an anti-American communist. The good news is that an overwhelming majority of Americans disagree with this attitude, as difficult as this may be for some right wing extremists to believe.

@SuperiorSwagon1 Are you being paid by right-wing organizations to go around and troll on forums, videos, etc. that have a progressive, pro-middle class bent to them?
