My Mother's Namesake

Organization Summary: West Park Healthcare Centre has been helping patients live the fullest lives possible since 1904. West Park provides specialized rehabilitation and complex continuing and long-term care services, helping individuals manage difficult health challenges like lung disease, diabetes, stroke, amputation and musculoskeletal issues arising from a life-changing event or illness.

Storyteller: Cece Scott

BIO: Cece Scott has been a volunteer at West Park Healthcare Centre for the past two years and serves as a Special Events Volunteer assisting at resident BBQ's, Summer Festivals, Talent Night, Christmas Lunches, etc.

Story Description: Cece reflects on her relationship and love for her mother, and how giving back to others is her way of honouring her mother's memory.
