I've always loved her sound and approach. RIP.....

Oh My.....This is amazing. I have a playlist of 22 pianists playing this piece. Her's is one of the fastest played yet it transcended time because of her majestic touch and control of tempi and the legato line. Oh my again. Some play it heart rendering, some somber, some regal...she plays it soul fulfilling. I heard her live in 1978 in St. Paul MN at a recital but was touched more with this piece now. I've got to listen again. Indeed, she and Schubert are alive & well. John-Hans Melcher

Also in Schubert her interpretation is pure and the best you can find. THis lady was the very best musician under the pianists. She never made commercial recordings but did what she wanted to do. She was looking for verity in music.

It gave me shivers... so tragically and delicately played.

Despite the typically dry acoustics of most London/Decca recordings of this time, how can one not be moved by playing such as this?

I can't see these videos or songs of Larrocha... I know that is her touch in the piano... I start to cry.
OmG, how's it possible... My dream was meet her and see playing! T_T

Una bella alma bajo
y ilumino las tinieblas
con su pasion.
Ahora subio a donde
la esperaban.
En donde miles aplaudan por
eternidad.
