lol i dont blame you about the yellow & green clothing but when you dont know the gender most ppl stick to yellow! this is why if i ever have children i want to know if im buying pink or blue haha.. since your husband is not home maybe you should just have a small shower instead of a really big one!

You could always go ahead and register at Babys-R-Us and other stores for the baby now, and if someone wants to give you a gift they can. Then once your husband is home, have the actual shower! Or you could do a small one with your close family now and then a larger one with extended family and friends when he gets home.
Yellow is also a neutral baby color. You could do green and yellow, or maybe white and yellow? Also, red is good for babies because it stimmulates their eyes.
