So why is it that healthcare for armed forces is government run an no one is complaining about that? It's not going to raise your taxes considerably, and it will be worth it when everyone has it.

@owensamrob its all about taxes. we pay 8 percent taxes here in texas... if you pass socialized healthcare our taxes won't increase just one or two percent.... they willl SOAR!

The government is incapable of doing anything correctly,look at social security,they screwed that up,look at the IRS that's quite screwed up, they tax you lots,then misuse your money,medicaid/medicare are boundless in terms of fraud,the gov't is continously in the red in terms of spending,the VA is complete incompetence-I know I'm a veteran.I worked to help many veterans who had problems with geting health care.So please gov't in health is a recipe for disaster.Rationing of health care anyone!

Socialized healthcare it proven to work, I live in the UK, and the service provided by the NHS is good. Why are you so negative and close-minded about it? Its just like paying insurance on your car.

Its hilarious that everything in Obamas response ad to McCain was completely true lol McCains entire campaign was based on personal smears anyone can see that. And....fresh ideas will win you the white house not attacks on your opponents character as im sure John McCain and Sarah Palin have now learned
