WARNING: DARK ANGST, SYMBOLISM.
Made for the contest challenges "If Jareth was Evil.."/"The mask of Fallen Angel"
Inspired by Scattered Logic's fanfic "Welcome to Hell"
Genre: Drama, Supernatural, Angst
Rating: R
Warning: dark themes, symbolysm, character's death
Summary: "Abandon hope, all you who enter here." (Dante, "The Divine Comedy")
"..You know your problem? You take too much for granted. Take this Labyrnnth. If you reach the center, you'll never get out again."
"Things aren't always what they seem, so you can't take anything for granted."
("Labyrinth")

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
One day there were some questions in the Lab-contest. ..If name "Goblin King" was only the mask of Fallen Angel?.. If the Labyrinth was Hell?..If names we call mean not what they mean?.. And what's the price of your pride, if you decide to trust only to your own "powers"?..
So this is the one version of "things which aren't always what they seem".

P.S.
As to me, I don't like this idea; I prefer "The Labyrinth" as philosophical fairy tale and Jareth as proud handsome Fae King who "..fell in love with the girl" (c) :)
But.. There're so many points of view.. And this video-story is the generalized vision of this theme and all dark angst fanfics I read.

And that's the gift for all dark-angst-fanciers as well. XD
They asked me to make such vid - and they got it. "What's said is said" (c) mwahaha. XD

  • David Bowie...bringing the mullet back! Quite possibly the hottest guy with a mullet I've seen

  • Amazing!!!!!!! I can see how this could have what happened. But then I always thought she should have stayed with him. I wish they would have made another where she returned to him.

  • I don't really see the character of Jareth as 'dark' or 'evil,' just very lonely. And possibly mistreated at some point in life...

But like AnaisPhoenix says, there are many different views. And it's interesting to look at the story through some of the different views.

  • soooo eerie luv it

  • Thank you very much!
