great stuff, great seeing these guys play at their best. times have shifted now though phillipines thai etc still producing top players america is struggling with SVB leading the charge its pretty slim, the europeans are now starting to dominate. especially the influx of former snooker players convertin to pool its very troubling for the other pool players that skill combined with few years of pool circuit playin makes them formiddable opponents

at 1:18 is a repeat of one of the shot in part 1 =P

@JLack84 no such thing as the "proper way to play it". If you can make balls and still get out.. there is no right or wrong way to get out. It varies between each player

This is better than porn!

Strickland the best pool player of all times.....

I don't know if anyone has noticed this yet or not, but the audio towards the end involving the dialog between the commentators Mark Wilson and Ed Pinsong was edited between 7:28 and 7:36 to make it look like they said something they really didn't. Mark Williams says "he's gonna scratch on this shot and justifiably so. It was the proper way to play it" If you look up the original video Mark Williams says "even though he made those two balls neither one of them was the proper way to play it"

@princekody now I see, the knowledge u have about pool is far of being empirical.

@9ballalex but did earl won a rack after that that means efren did not give him achance to continue his streak and make him seat at the table for 20 more racks..so what is ur point and besides efren won that challenge thats why i said efren has the edge on earl and frm what i heard earl cnot beat efren on money games actually at that time no can beat him.
-
@princekody must untrue post I´ve seen... Strickland has beaten efren more than efren beats strickland......let´s take hong kong challenge as a reference....the efren´s biggest lead was of 3 games...and what was the earl´s biggest lead?? XD 20 games....a player who can take his opponent by 20 games in a race to 100, is evidently superior.

@asbani911 %100 agree with u.. Strickland is the best pool player, even better than reyes

Earl has changed a lot since back then..
he seemed more graceful but now all i see is a grumpy old man that seems to hate everything in the world. His attitude to pool has changed to much.
Efren on the other hand, has always had the attitude to pool that makes everyone respect him.

Its nice to see Earl gracious in defeat and congratulating his opponent at the end.
