If you're going to be going that fast wear gloves, or be prepared to kiss goodbye to your fingers if you come off the bike.
I live in Japan, scooters like this are incredibly popular. Very economical too. Great way to get around.

@jagmcool Same in NC. Only mopeds are not allowed on Interstates. Anything is allowed on a freeway (one with I at the start) even mopeds.

@earpig I live in indiana and ive never seen a sign saying that. Here, anything over 50cc can go on the highway as far as i know.

I believe it is illegal. I know in Cali there are signs posted that anything less than 250cc is not allowed.

The speedo has 70mph max. It tops out at 70 indicated, probably 65-68 gps. It is rev limited @approximately 9300 rpm. I routinely get 100-110 miles per tank or 75-85 mpg, roughly.
