Gateway p7805u still running strong as it tackles this latest game. I also upscaled the textures with a rageconfig.cfg file, also removing almost all texture pop-up. Running this game off an SSD I installed in the empty slot of this amazing machine.

  • hey i have the same lap and it still kicks ass but in another vid u said something about alot of optimazation what did u do to your stock p78o5u to get to run 2011 games smooth at those settings

  • @ferniezombie heh I can't cover all that in a comment but I can direct you to my "ultimate gaming laptop tweaks" video. Just search that in the bar above.

  • the Vsync is now @ 30 FPS ? O__ o

  • @Nvidia9700MGT it was running at 30 fps instead of 60 because I had an option on that limited the framerate. When I disabled that option I get full 60 fps.

  • do u reckon id be able to run rage at 60 fps on my lappy?

    specs are:

    intel core i7-2630qm 2.9ghz (OC)

    gtx 560m

    16gb RAM 1.5gb

dual 500 gb hdds with raid

    but no solid state so....?

  • @xSLlPx Yea I'm pretty sure you should be able to reach 60 fps, the lack of an SSD might cause the textures to load a bit slower though in this game. Any way your rig can definitely tackle this game maxed np
