@R0bb89 Everyone always brings up Lombardo's drumming when someone says Slayer are sloppy. Yes his drumming is precise, but drumming aside Slayer were never known for being the tightest or cleanest band. Viritually every other thrash band is tighter and more precise than them. Not saying that's bad or good.

@shnakeaneggs Jeff got bitten by a poisonous spider in late 2010 / early 2011 and had to take a surgery. The recovery from the surgery has taken much longer than expected and Slayer had to replace him coz they didn't want to cancel another tour as they had to do in 2010 when Tom had his neck surgery

Replacing Gary Holt with Jeff Hanneman wasn't the best thing to do. Jeff Hanneman plays like nobody else, and Holt could never live up to the true insanity of Hanneman's role in the dual Angel of Death solo. As a matter of fact, Holt could have done much, much better.

@gbncsrht Yeah nobody can match Jeff's senseless anarchy and insane shredding but Gary brought playing that made sense and I prefer it a bit more over Jeff's.

@R0bb89 Gary is much better than jeff and kerry together but asking a clean playing guitarist to play in a sloppy band is just never gonna work :/

@Mossers89 Slayer sloppy? Maybe solowise but overall hell no! Lombardo's druming more than precise. There isn't a word for his accuracy!
