This is Monkey after the surgery. They cut off all the necrotic skin which is why the hole is so much bigger than when she got brought in. You can see her smile a little bit here, she has never once tried to bite or snap anyone. She had just gotten her first bath here, and she LOVED her spa day. Hopefully the hole will granulate in enough for them to kind of close it up, but if not, it should still be a closed wound when we are all finished.

Wow, was this a dug in collar? I really hate to see neglected animals. No doubt she is glad to recieve the attention and top notch medical care.
