That's a great quality you get there from your HF20. Question: Are you using the Canon housing for it, or have you spung for a different manufacturer. I'm thinking about buying a HF20 and I also wondered if the missing ability to control all the functions underwater is a problem.
I used a Sony DSC-T100 with the original housing. It does decent video, but origninally, I bought it for taking pictures. But the more video I shoot with it, the more interested I get in this.

thank you fot the comment.
I have the reason to use CANON.
CANON has original WATERPROOF CASE. The usage is easy. All are autos.
There is more excellent in the end than where. It is a setting and there is UNDERWATER MODE.
The water inside becomes blue. It is corrected.
It doesn't use it now though the filter has been used up to now.
Please look at the site of CANON USA.
The following camera of HF20 puts it on the market in the United States.

Thank you for the comment.
This place is Miyakojima. From Okinawa to solitary island of about 300km in the southwestIt is an island where the coral reef upheaves. Geographical features is very complex. There is a limestone cave, too.
