how can you call that a gallop when its nearly a trot?!
-
Um.....extended canter much?
-
Horse never galloped. There was merely some extension of the canter. The videos on horses that "expertvillage" has posted are all very unimpressive. I find most of them to have lots of inacurate information in them.

that was good, but its an extended canter, not a gallop. And btw racehorses go much faster than that :L

@webshanbeau A gallop is a four beat gait while canter has 3. A gallop has a moment of suspense when all four feet are off the ground. That was not a gallop.

I know what a hand gallop is, and that wasn't it. That was an extended canter.
-
not to be mean or anything but my definition of a gallop is a horse at his/her's top speed....
-
he is not happy lol

For all of you saying that was a canter, it wasn't. By gallop she doesn't mean an out of contol gallop, but a hand gallop where your still in control. And hand galloping is when your horse simply lengthens their stide an has a little increase in speed, which hers did.
