Lars isn't sloppy it is called playing the song how you feel it should be played as in YOUR version. I have been playing drums for almost 19 years and i feel the same way if you think a fill should be here or a cymbal crash should be there then add it. Make that time playing that song kind of special. It can get a bit dull playing the same song the same way all the time.
