That's usually how that works right? Some guy buys the software & reworks it a bit... And then he owns the software and make it payware and prevent anyone from distributing it. It being the software he bought and his new version of the same software. I bet that's the case here.
I'm curious so i think I'll contact the Otaku Software team and ask. I'll let you know if i do. ;)

So it's not freeware anymore and it's been renamed Deskspace. So it's probably still legal to use yodm3d but it's probably illegale to distribute it...
I tried Deskviews BTW and it works well on XP. Much better than CubeDesktop. I'll buy it i think.
