I quit cold turkey last April... just passed my 10 months clean yesterday. I was sick for 10 days and vomiting for 7... never again will i go back to that. I am trying to get my life in order and now its even more hard for me to do so due to my past.

i am so glad to hear that you got over it. i have been battling with heroin for 3 years and recently got out of jail for it.. i want to stay clean and change my life because i am only 17 month away from eighteen. I currently have 30 days clean and im so scared to even go outside because of the same fears you had..

hes stil on the meth i was on it 5yrs and didnt work cuz u can use on top and the cluck off it is worse than heroin, he should get on subutex, it doesnt have the high opiate feeling and it blocks any heroin you use. Ive been battling for 10yrs, if it wasnt for praying at my lowest point and feeling his love within me I would be dead. NA and AA arent for everyone,but I think its only when you get to the point of having and knowing gods love that things get better. Thats what has happened to me.

Please do everything you can to stop using. I am 39 still addicted, [methadone]. It only stops when you make the effort to seek help & put an end to it. It is literally a battle. Please do it now so you dont wake up & find 20 years have gone by on drugs.
