Once again we see media bias in full swing where they blame Naxder for costing Gore the 200 election. Countless studies have shown that Nader did not cost Gore the election.

Nah we don't want Ron Paul going Libertarian, then he'll never win. He needs to stay "old school" Republican... they weren't always big government!

I am a libertarian and would vote Kucinich over Bob Barr. Kucinich is much more geniune than Bob Barr on his beliefs. I do agree more with Kucinich on social issues and environmental policy as compared to Barr.

Nexus974, well said... i'm really annoyed that so many TV interviews mention the fact that he is a long shot and if you don't have a realistic chance of winning, why run?
Since when do Americans not try to win if the odds are long? If there were odds-makers taking bets on the American rebels in 1776, I'm sure the Yanks weren't given much of a shot of winning, thank GOD they didn't just give up.

I'm not sold on Barr. I think he has his own political agenda and using the party to get to it. He authored the Defense of Marriage Act and he also signed the Patriot Act, how can that be Libertarian? And now he flip flops? He didn't even answer the question that he made a mistake. He just said he didn't like the repurcussions of his decision. That's why Ron Paul is the true Libertarian, he sticks to his principles from the very beginning by voting against the DOMA and PA.

Isn't Barr the author of the Defense of Marriage Act? So he's regretting this now and running as Libertarian? Hmmmmm...I'm kinda suspicious. They should have tried to get Ron Paul as the party's Presidential candidate...and Bob Barr just the VP.

Ron Paul is endorsing Chuck Baldwin. This revolution will require that we all become leaders. Ron Paul is just the beginning... he is a true patriot. Where are you? It is time we step up to the plate.

well said. very well said.
He will not "take" votes from anyone. McCain doesn't own anyone's vote. He has to earn votes, just like Obama and Barr do.

Hardcore liberals may be dilusional, but I think many liberals are just "liberals" because they are anti-Bush and anti-war, and once they find out Obama's policies are in bed with the same big-government Washington politics, they'll wake up and see a 3rd party is the only way out.
