Wow, over 100,000 views????? I'm amazed!
Yeah, I know, I'm still in my phase of making Superman videos. This is part of my version of a Superman III and IV hybrid cut.
So this is the first battle with Superman and Nuclear Man in which they chase each other around the world. I edited out some of the really corny stuff and added an all new edited scene.
Here are the differences between this battle and the original one:
-I took out the scene where Superman fixes the Great Wall with psychic abilities. It is implied that he did it with his super speed, because I'm trying to make this hybrid cut as faithful to the comics as possible.
-I took out the scene where he plugs up the erupting volcano by putting another mountain on top of it (which he broke off with his heat vision). Enough said.
-I also took out the face-offs Superman and Nuclear Man had in space because I wanted this to feel more like a chase scene where Superman had to chase down Nuclear Man before he destroyed something else, which is why I had Nuclear Man freeze him with ice breath to slow him down.
-And of course I added a sort of combined scene using the tornado in Smallville deleted scene in Superman IV and the other tornado scene in Superman III.

Ah, Superman 4. Nice job editing it to make it less shitty. Still, though, the crappy Golan-Globus cost cutting and idiot storyline make this sequel come across like one of those heavy-handed kid series from Saturday morning when I was a kid (Shazam, Ark II, Space Academy). All it needed was a talking monkey...no wait....I guess that's what Nuclear Man was.

@tdelamont Ha ha, thanks! I've always felt that this movie had a decent amount of potential, especially with Chris Reeve more involved. But yeah, the Golan-Globus dudes had a million other projects in the works while they were making this so they cut so many corners because of that.

good job! If someone like you had been working on the original "Superman 4" and made it look closer to what Superman should have been, it might have made money.

@kevgiv Thanks! I actually made a hybrid cut of Superman 3 and 4 just for fun that has some deleted scenes from Superman 4 that I tried to make closer to the original idea.
