This guy made a transmitter capable of displaying iPhone videos on any screen !
Real or Fake ?
It smells Marketing...
Everything is made to look real, but...
the guy waiting his friend to stop the video on the first part should have been deleted. Kept to make this trick real !

I'm sure the video is not fake, but its seems rigged.

SHORT ANALYSIS :
At 0:35 we can see far away the same video playing on a screen.
On the biggest screen, lower "CNN" screen is not disrupted.
Videos playing on thoses screens are just ads. You can pay for their display.
These guys demonstrating, play for the company that paid to have ads on Times Square displaying the pre-made videos showing disruptions and artifacts before and after the iPhone vid.
With a good work, synchronization of gestures and vids, we have a wonderful fake !!
