These tips work for all cage birds, African grays, cockatiels etc, not just budgies.

Toska (my budgie) is a year old cobalt budgie, she was an ex aviary bird before i got her, she was given to me by my best friend who breeds budgies, cockatiels, finches and quails (go buy from him now!)

She is my first budgie and this is my step by step guide on how i trained her.

Hey nice vid but would it work if you have tow Budggies in a cage or do I have to only have one because my birds are soooo scarred and you no millet dose that actually get there atention (HELP!!

Wow great video I tried it with my 3 budgies 2 of which is Avery raised and it did not work for them but my 3rd budgie can after this video eat out of my hand but we are getting there

Thanks so much for this video! I have two male cobalt budgies. They will sit on the perch with my finger about a quarter way up. They're getting there. XD This is seriously the best taming video I've watched. :] I'm going to use this method with my two cockatiels and my lovebird also.

My wife just got me a cockatiel for my birthday. Will this work for it? also what if they bite? does it hurt at all? What do you do when they get out of your cage? You said touch their tail softly, but what if they don't let you get close?
