I respectfully disagree. There are some things about the bill that we don't like, but on the flip side, all of us want the law enforced if it affects us directly. Where is that fine line between what laws are okay to enforce, and which ones aren't? Most would agree that anyone who comes to this country legally, no matter what the color of their skin is, or their religious beliefs, would be very welcome here. Especially when they allow us those same rights.

First, I would like to thank you for your comment. With all due respect though, not all immigrants feel welcome here. And definitely, in the land of opportunities, documented or not, you should have the opportunity. Sadly, that is not the case.

That bill does not protect you or me or anyone for that matter. This bill will target immigrants and non immigrants simply under "reasonable suspicions" families will be separated due to this bill. Would you like to see that happen?

I still think most people have no problem with anyone here legally. What is the point of having laws at all if nobody enforces them? I can't help but wonder if one of the reasons many here legally feel somewhat unwelcome is that there is no way to know who is here legally and who is not unless somebody asks. The abuses of America's welfare system and entitlement programs also cause resentments. Some don't like anyone coming here, but most are open if it's legal.

That's a really good video. Do we honestly believe that we can afford this? Do we honestly believe that this won't lead to racial profiling? Do we honestly believe that our law enforcement officials have the training to determine citizenship?

There probably are people who won't like anybody thats different, but depending on location, most people are pretty welcoming in some places while others are suspicious of everybody. Nobody hopes or longs for families to be separated, but it still goes back to personal accountability. If any of us does something we know is wrong or illegal, we risk the consequences. I know families who have been separated from poor choices with drugs, etc. It still comes back to consequences for our actions.
