    Funny, but that actually comes from the Scottish influence to the Geordie accent -- and a lot of people from that area also settled in Canada.

    The Scouse accent is influenced by Irish and only developed to what it is now not that long ago the oldest dialect is Yorkshire as it's derived from old Norse and old English.
