Tejas is looking to be a true, world class fighter jet.
However, I'd like to remind all my brothers and sisters from Bharat that had BJP been in power, none of these shortcomings would have happened. The extreme incompetence of congress is the main reason (just like with all of Bharat's problems) for the Tejas having problems. If you love your nation and want it restored to it's former Vedic glory, we need to bring BJP to power.

As for the Tejas, I would like to ask my pakistani and chinese-in-disguise brothers and sisters to conduct more research.
The Tejas has reached mach 1.6 numerous times, and this is without the recent improvements such as the F404 engine. The improvements will give the Tejas 10kN more thrust, the weight reduction of approximately ~700kg will also help with the performance.
I would also like to remind the pakistanis that they are yet to come up with anything indigenous that's half decent.
