Wait till you get the Sandberg. I have a Sandberg California, and it's so wicked! It's really an awesome all-around type of bass.

hey man im thinking of getting a new bass quite soon, and i was wondering if the Cort GB74 was a good choice.
would you recommend it?
and how much did you get yours for?

I don't know...depends on how long you're planning to keep it.
The GB74 is definitely a good choice as first or second bass, or as backup bass. I payed mine 390 euros. (in France)
I've had it for almost two years now (or was it 3 ? :-P) and I'm still playing it with pleasure...even if I'm soon gonna get my next bass...a Sandberg

did you replace the pickups? It sounds totally different to my GB-74
tnx

No pickup replacement...
I don't even konw how I set up the pickups...
All I can tell you is that I had 45-105 Bass Bommers from GHS...
But I think the amp is also important...here I'm recording directly into the line-in of the computer.

ah, I see.
My first and only attempt to play GHS Boomers was a total failure. The died on me after just 2 or 3 weeks.
Keep playing, I liked your video.
