Who you know & not just getting to know someone in a power position to hopefully hire you. Who you know means having your own crew of like-minded creative people who want to make their mark or at least quit their day job :) The best gigs I've booked have been because of genuine friendships with people in the business. Itt helps if you have a clue, go to class, turn off the tv & study too. :)
