Consumer Warning: LG IPS237 / IPS277 (1.2mm bezel lie)

One of the biggest selling points of LG's IPS 7 series monitors (IPS237 / IPS237L /IPS277 /IPS277L) is the incredibly thin bezel of 1.2mm.

Unfortunately this statement from LG is false. I bought the IPS237 monitor for 240€ from a German online retailer and the bezel turned out to be 11mm wide.

The monitor itself is not bad, no doubt about that but I basically just bought it for the 1mm bezel so the main, stand out feature was missing.

I have a 27EA63V-P. It has the same problem. It has a black border of 1cm I think. You don't see that on the pic's from the LG site.

LG didn't lie about the bezel width... You just don't know the definition of bezel..

I have this monitor, and it's amazing! It is indeed true about the bezel, but imo it doesn't matter. I love this monitor. Btw the panel is amazing. BUY IT <3

I would recommend get the thinnest bezel ones then place them a bit behind eachother so you get less noticable bezel.
