i know skid row like the back of my hand, I been there a lot

You gotta be kidding me....Skid row is not a "hood." Its a place where a bunch of rejects swarm together, you know why?

Because just south of Skid Row is East LA. Any bums that try crashing there would get shot or robbed by Mexican street gangs. To the WEST is downtown LA, where cops chase them away. South Central is also close to skidrow, and these rejects would get taken advantage of crips and hustlers residing there.

That is why they all huddle together like bums, they have nowhere else.
