  • @angelmouse432 I can't believe 5 stupid idiots just put a 5 thumbs up your BS. I guess those 5 stupid idiots don't know shit about caring for Ts. Listen!! If you think this video is inhumane, or unethical, maybe you're the idiot who pretends to stumble upon this video and watched it for your own amusement you judgmental SOB!!

  • @angelmouse432 Ow Really.. The enclosure is perfectly fine, except for some additional substrate like moss and potting soil. You also said Ts are not supposed to be eating mice. Mmm..?? Its not like Tarantulas never gets a chance encounter with wild mice, lizards, and small snakes in the wild. Opportunities like this are just too good to pass up for a hungry T. Let me get something straight.. I only feed my Ts mice twice a year only. You don't have to feed them constantly with a diet of mice.

  • @jerumd I know, that's why I only have it on 1\3 of the terrarium.

  • @Koostbraaksel To be honest with you, i really don't recommend heating mats since, heating mats are capable of creating heat spots that's potentially fatal for burning your tarantulas especially if you place your heat mats close to the T's layer.

  • @jerumd I use a heat mat under 1\3 of the terrarium and a night lamp.

It works fine, but it took a lot of effort to get them just right.

It's also hard to get materials for the terrarium, I'm lucky that I'm a veterinarian and have easy acces to most if it.

Simple things like night lamps\potting soil without fertilizer.

  • @Koostbraaksel If you have your own cage, the floor space is much more important than the height of the terrarium since, tarantulas will in fact climb and will fall & hurt themselves. B. Albopilosums are one of my favorites too. I never had one yet but, i planning to purchase one soon. The hairs of this species looked like they are fresh out a blow dryer XD LOL!!

  • @jerumd It's quite hard to make a proper terrarium for Geniculate in my country.

It's still one of my favourites though, I also have a B. Albopilosum
