Mother of six, grandmother of seven, Liz Mitten Ryan, artist, writer and horse breeder, and her architect husband Kevin Ryan, made a decision that would change their lives. They moved onto 320 secluded acres in the hills of the Nicola Valley, British Columbia, and built a solar home/barn, which they share with their family of horses.
Living in close proximity with the herd, and in seclusion from the rest of the world, opened the door to spiritual realms and mysteries that the horses revealed.
For Liz, worship in the wisdom of HORSE is a life-long fascination. She is dedicated to their understanding and their wisdom as great spiritual teachers.
The horses, living as they would in the wild, but with the benefit of loving and supportive humans, share their secrets through the concept of EQUINISITY: the gift of finding the unexpected and truly important perspective through the clear and almost 360-degree vision of the equine.

  • Inspirational.

  • This is great if you can house your horses on 300 acres. But alot of people want to enjoy their horse and can not afford such a farm. Also alot of the "obstacles" you have your horses maneuvering through are in their natural setting(making it easier for them to accept it) and *most* horses in todays world will be exposed to things that are not in their "natural world". I am not doubting your connection with your horses just simply offering an opinion of this video.

  • I enjoy seeing this over and over Liz.... you have created magic!

  • Wonder-Full

posted on our Facebook page 'Course of Awakening'

Finally - we are able to live these dreams now on Earth. And part of this awakening is our re-connection to the Animals as partners, playmates, on the planet.

  • Absolutely beautiful, full of love and respect. A glimpse in a perfect people-horses-nature world, how it could be, how it should be. ..

  • This video captured a "Truth" all should be aware of. What a beautiful Gift to the world. Loving and Listening to these beautiful beings is wonderment beyond your wildest Dreams. I was so Touched by this Video...

  • missahtim1:What a bitter human you are. How much experience do you have with horses? Ms. Ryan has a realistic approach;I base that on personal expr. As a teacher, I use epistemology/pedagogy AND meta/quantum physics with my horses. In your attempts to sound erudite, you make yourself a fool (it is vulnerable, not venerable). Look at the likes of Monty Roberts for charlatans. Maybe you just have no heart and soul. As one who loves and RESPECTS horses, I found this video quite inspiring..

  • How beautiful to watch a human being treating horses with gentleness. I was raised on a farm watching someone treat animals forcefully and disrespectfully. Friendships with animals, based on respect and caring is lovely to watch. Thank you for the model!

  • A very clever charlatan employing an extensive knowledge of meta physical concepts while utilizing horses as props to prey on the naivete of people not well acquainted with horses.

Deep down in our hearts all of us raised in our "Disney" defined western culture really do want to believe that movies like "Bambi" were documentaries. (Sorry)

Consequently we are venerable to being exploited by the likes of Ms Mittens. J.P Barnum would be proud!

"320 acres for a band of wild horses?

    please!

  • Its like seeing my own dream in reality :D

    Well done!
