Wendy Hutchinson, regulatory affairs manager at Arch Coal's Thunder Basin Coal Company, works hard to ensure that her company leaves the land they mine in better condition than when they found it - and she's proud that her employer is behind her every step of the way. Yes, coal has it's problems-but no comparison to nuclear power. Nukes are neither safe, cheap or even truly renewable-of course it renews itself, in waste, releases into environment, etc. (these are just daily operations) Then there's Fukushima, Chernobyl, Three Mile Island-acceptable levels/ By who's standards? The nuclear industry-of course. It's all PR-but in the end we must ask ourselves, what are acceptable risks? When it comes to nuclear power, the answer is there are NO acceptable risks.

@newburylove YOU don't know your facts. I live and work here...so it is QUITE obvious to me that YOU are the one with propaganda issues.
And speaking of "rich soil"....there is no rich soil out here. Look at my yard for God's sake...and try to grow grass. You do not know what you are talking about.

This video is full of lies. You cant get land back to the way it was before mining. It takes hundreds of years to create soil that rich. It's depressing to see this kind of propaganda.
