Wanted to caution people about kinking the strings. My first and second strings both immediately snapped at the kink while I was tensioning them. Liked the capo, though. Seems way easier than using a wedge under the Bigsby.

hey i just got a hagstrom with a bigsby tailpiece and it was so confusing to restring it. but thanks to your video i did it without a problem. and to think i was about to go to my local music store and pay them to restring it ha!

Yes it really does. Not after the first time, but if you always do it like that the neck will grow wrong and you will get buzzy sounds if you play open strings ...

I think the zzguitarworks how to string a bigsby video makes it even easier. Both these guys though have a lot of experience, still takes me about 20 mins.

I don't understand what's so important about neck tension or just tension in general. If someone would clear this up for me it would be much appreciated.

the use of a capo keeps both hands free to get the strings placed in the tuning machine. Its like having a 'third' hand.
