Select a moderate tempo Mute the snare & kick Drop the sliders to zero for the tamb / metallic / guiro Set the balance fader to half way Now... press Disco 2 & select Rhythm A (on toggle switch) You should now just hear the hi-hat and a bongo playing that familiar pattern (adjust tempo to suit) Bet you can't listen to it without singing along! OK, you probably found this by now but your d d d d d d d d... is the variation (fill)

Rotary control selects type of variation

Measure controls number of bars before it triggers

Toggle switch (auto/manual) is important

In auto mode it goes off all the time (as per video)

Set to manual and manually select a fill when you want, (hit white switch below)

Rhythms? you can combine any two (in A or B)

OK, all I have to say is that this is probably one of the Most histerical things I've ever seen!! Also being a self proclaimed gear whore, I do the exact same "sniffy-whiffy" routine when I get a New piece! Then, when you said it smelled of "Fags", I Lost it! Yeah yeah, Cigaretts, I Know but living in the states you rarely hear that so the initial thought is.. Well.. Uh, obvious!! :)
