The Craft - Manon Invocation

They used just enough to be realistic without going completely into the Wiccan/Pagan Path. It was just enough to confuse a lot of kids out there seeking a Higher Power. If there was a Wiccan High Priestess on hand, then she should know better. The Rule of Three is nothing to play with! A lot of kids took that movie literally and didn't bother asking questions of anyone in the faith for info or anything. Hollywood has GOT to be a little more careful when dealing with Our Ways. Brightest Blessings

@licoricefun Its Manon, which is fictional.. But Mabon is a Celtic Sabbat of Witchcraft/Paganism and Wicca, which is very real.

The Craft movie had two on set witches, mainly Pat from the Covenant of the Goddess, information and spells was severely close to Wicca thanks to Pat

@killmebefomidnight They had an on set witch named Pat from Covenant of the Goddess, and the one who played Nancy was a real practicing witch too, at the time, I'm unaware if she is still a practitioner or not. The spells, and information is severely close to real spells and information of Witchcraft and Wicca. Manon is a fictional God though. Hollywood just made it into a movie magick thing, Fairuza (Nancy) mentioned this was closer to Wicca then any movie she ever known thanks to Pat.

You are all dumb. Fighting on the internet is just like competing in the special Olympics. Even if you win you're still retarded. So everyone shut up and enjoy scene from an awesome movie.

Whats the name of the song when they first get there

Eeearrrth. Lol

@PaganKitty1 invoking a spirit is also something that is not to be messed with.... you only do this if you feel you are in danger or if you feel you need guidence from the higher power. it is never simple or something you do for fun.
the reason they created MANON was to avoid all this drama. IT'S JUST FICTION, PEOPLE. THEY'RE NOT TEACHING WICCA, MAGICK OR ANYTHING RELATED.
Get some popcorn and relax.

@killmebefomidnight don't try to make the movie bigger than what it is. Just a movie. I love Wicca and i loved this movie, but i know the difference between them two. To learn about Wicca there're books and teachers. This is just Hollywood trying to sell. They're not trying to teach anything to anyone, just took wicca and tried to make some money out of it.

it's MANON, and was created just for the movie. It's Obviuosly based in The God and the Goddess.
