You should have drove down to Galveston. Me, and a bunch of my friends went and it was like a huge party. The bars were still open, so we joined the fun. That was when we saw "hurricane bear" running around. We left the next day.

Half of my friends went. I was with some other friends in River Oaks watching 'What's Love Got to Do With It', switching to the news every now-and-then to check on the progress of the storm... We were in a high rise and were the only people in our immediate area who had power throughout the entire storm..

I remember hearing about the guy in the bear costume... The best place to have been was on the west side at this Ballroom off of Westheimer near Hwy 6.. There was a Hurricane Ike & Tina costume party during the storm...

Lol there were alot of people out here playing with the reporters. There was also a guy dressed as a bear, and also a few who were streaking. I love living here.
