my Red ear Slider turtle Rex trying to swallow a Chinese Algae Eater. Over the tank divider, you can see my other RES turtle, Cinderella, watching. This happened after a water change where I broke the water heater. The cold water must've slowed down the CAE.

  • whats the beep?

  • smoke detector that needs its batteries replaced

  • turtles have no saliva so they are supposed to eat in water, so that's probably why the turtle is having such a hard time getting the fish down

  • that and I think that the fish was just too big to swallow whole
