Complimenting the K-9 Care Program, the First Congrational UCC, Grand Marais, MN (a town of 1300 Pop.), is sponsoring a drive with our local American Legion Post #413 and it's Auxilary, to raise funds for the Veteran's K-9 Corps that matches Veterans who need assistance with specially trained dogs. Each dog's breeding/training along with the orientation of one Veteran will cost $20,000. It is hoped we can raise that amount for one dog for the VetDog program.
