http://www.fubusama.com - Reviewing one really bad session and examining variance. Has some analysis around making EV calculations against hand ranges.
A lot of coolers, and considering that your a positive player definitely means your playing things
right. Imo, I think that if you called with the jq suited on the turn that gave you a flush and open ended draw, it would have been a lot better. Because you only had 35 percent to win, and it really didn't look like queens were good there, it really seemed like he at least had a K, So if you called you were getting 2 to 1, which is what you needed, plus if you hit your hand you had implied odds.
You were behind in almost all of the hands when you got your stack in. In fact you may have been behind in every hand. Sometimes, just calling is fine when all you have is one pair. By raising, you'll get called by hands that beat you while folding hands you would have beat anyway. You gain nothing by raising a mediocre hand.
When u convince yourself to call, you're in trouble. Should quit when you notice yourself doing this. What I notice is you keep justifying why stacking off is fine.
you didnt misplay anything it was all ok, dont listen to these guys below acting like their phil ivey, tough session, it was my last session that brought me to your video. The variance made me think I was playing bad but I guess we just have to deal with it.
Don't wanna sound harsh, but u missplayed a lot of the hands there as well. Play the optimum all the time and variance will drop. Especially the 5s was just terribad. Why would u wanna get it in pre with that hand vs a fish? Outplay him postflop, wait for a better hand to do it. I mean i play NL1k and it's been quite some time since i played NL10 but i don't think that this is ever +EV. U either flip or ur crushed.
this is a standard day, 2 flopped set vs sets with pocket pairs, missed every single draw ive had be it flush straight or straight flush, aces, kings twice and queens cracked... opponents had every single draw come in, been like this since the start of 2011, according to varience im due an erik seidel it is seriously vile how one person can run this bad
