Tetris - Type C (Bass Cover)

Today I woke up and said what many musicians wake up every morning and say; "I really need to get better at this" lol.

So I'm going to start challenging myself by playing a wider range of music (and more difficult too). So expect my covers to start sounding really bad lol. I'll exit my comfort zone by trying a n "easy" classical piece first The Tetris Type C theme ^_^

this piece is not easy, you are playing it wrong, there is 2 voices, 2 melodies, its for keyboard you play with your left and right hand, but you only played 1 melody on the bass, you failed to play the second part, if you are going to play keyboard music on a guitar, you need to play the melody and bassline at the same time

@witchcraftlord lol well your eyes must be deceiving you because what I'm playing there is a BASS ...so it's not like with the guitar where you can just fingerpick both bass and melody notes. You'd have to understand the bass a bit more before you go and make assumptions.

That's very nice! I really loved it! I'm very glad to have "inspired you" to play this one.

I also play bass (actually, bass is my native instrument) and the same thing happened to me some years ago: I decided to get some difficult stuff to improve my abilities, and you've experienced how difficult it is to play these classical melodies on bass.

But after you got it.. damn.. so nice!!!

@TheJetsFan4Eva no not really, if he did it right, arranged it the right way, you can play the 2 parts , i know hes playing a bass but it can be done, you can play counterpoint on a bass guitar

This shit is heavy. Other than the lacking techniques but its heavy, little distortion.
