Peter Carpou, Art Program Manager for Larkin Street Youth, talks about the value of art and the impact it can have on a young person's life. Larkin Street Youth works primarily with homeless and runaway youth and has been bringing youth to Intersection for the Arts programs for over 15 years in part to introduce young people to consciousness raising, but also to empower them to choose meaning in life. What kind of difference can art make? Sometimes, it lets you experience what it is "to feel connected"... Part of a new series called Stories for the Intersection.
