Photographs of people and places in and around Lhasa from my May/June 2006 Tibetan trip.

The slide show includes The Dalai Lama's former home, The Potala Palace, The Barkhor area, The Jokhang, and several monasteries such as the Drepung, Ganden, and the Sera Monasteries. Local people and pilgrims are thought out this video.

I spend over a month in the Tibetan area during May/June 2006. This video is only of the Lhasa area. I plan to do more as I get time.

  • Is it easy to get into Tibet for a westerner? What is the procedure to be able to visit?

  • @silverstar2119 exploit tibet.

  • @123benny4 It is hard to get a VISA especially when the situation in Tibet is tense. If you had spoken out for human rights for the Tibetans in Tibet, most likely, the Chinese embassy will deny you the visa. Not much is left of TIBET. It's mostly Chinese in Tibet now a days. Good luck.

  • Free Tibet !!!

  • I was going to delete @fucksouthkoreagook's comment but left it on for others to see.

  • NO MATTER WHAT, NO MATTER ALL HATERS I STRONGLY BELIEVE TIBET WILL BECOME AN INDEPENDENT COUNTRY SOON

  • @fucksouthkoreagook I DID NOT BECOME LOSER FOR LOVING CHINA AND TIBET BOTH. HOW DARE U. UR CALLING HIM OLD PIG? LOSER IS U. UR HATE WILL KILL YOU

  • Oh, Tibet. It is such a great place. Spiritual and beautiful. It should be independent country already

  • @Pkr Stop telling lies ! Dumb bully !
