War of the Worlds Trailer

Trailer of "War of The Worlds" directed by Steven Spielberg.



I edited this in 2006, no intention of profit:

I didn't enjoy so much all trailers released for the promotion of WOTW (sorry), because it showed too much and spoiled the potential pleasure I could have had by watching the movie without knowing everything in the official trailers:

for instance the bridge turned upside-down at the beginning (so right in the beginning of the screening, I knew what was going to happen to that poor bridge), an other trailer had very too much fade to black during a few seconds (it gave me a head-sick)...

So I decided to edit my own trailer of that movie. The longest shot of a tripod you will find here is 11 images long (too little time for a human brain to remember it precisely at 24 images/sec).

It took around 10 hours (from capturing the DVD into my Avid editing desk until what you see now).

I edited, colored it, mixed it, sound edited, chose the music...and did all the job you see. I hope you will enjoy. All images belongs to Paramount, Dreamworks and everyone else, I did the editing and all I told you above.

OMG this is my FAVE movie!

An excellent piece of editing. Tom Cruise was very good in this film. So was Tim Robbins, playing the creepy guy in the cellar. Never let anybody say that good special effects are the most important thing in sci-fi. Good acting is essential too. Without good acting even the most expensive hi-tech movie will be a turkey.

Now this is a trailer that makes the movie look good! This was better than the OFFICIAL hollywood trailer, which was probably made by a f**king army of crew!!!!
