CROW VENDING MACHINE #1 - By Steve Joy 2011

The idea is that after a few weeks the crows will get the idea that they can find quarters "Around town" and get dog food for the quarters. So far the problem is small birds get to the food first. SEE: CROW VENDING MACHINE #2 for week 2's progress.

I think this is pretty cool, Steve! (I didn't hear crows in the background, though, they are naughty but extremely intelligent birds...have seen them work some tricky stunts to get food, I think they will catch on) I would think smaller birds have a hard time with the kernels, but since I'm only feeding tiny finches and sparrows, I'm not an expert. VERY INGENIOUS CONTRAPTION!! Are you certain you want those noisey crows in your yard?? I'd gladly pay a quarter each to get them to stop squawking!!
